This position is a Manager of managers and responsible to lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers to develop and substantiate permanent and temporary repairs for Airline customers. This manager is responsible to utilize continuous improvement tools to streamline processes, analyses, and standards in supporting Airline customers to minimize operational disruption. This manager will maintain and manage budget, performance, and quality metrics for all processes to achieve business goals; develop and execute long term strategy to streamline repair development and increase customer perception through exceptional customer service; develop metrics to track and understand customer perception and drive group processes to improve and maintain excellent customer satisfaction. This manager will ensure all technical, airworthiness and regulatory requirements are complied with while ensuring alignment with customer expectation


Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
  • Must be able to effectively lead managers, facilitate and encourage team environment, plan and prioritize multiple tasks to support deliverables
  • Effectively quantify resource need and submit proposal
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate well with internal and external customers and be driven to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to serve as the key point of contact for internal and external customers on SRM and related repair issues
  • Must be able to lead individuals and teams in the generation of standard work for repair development and stress analyses
  • Ability to work with all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management personnel.
  • Experience in managing budgets and forecast spend.
  • Excellent technical writing and PC skills.
  • Foster a continuous improvement and quality culture.

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with aircraft nacelle structures and systems

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years experience
  • Master's degree in Engineering with 7+ years experience
  • PhD in Engineering with 4+ years experience
